PHASE 3
Starts as planned on the 09th September [Main Street & Victoria Street Closed at the Junction with Greens Lane with 2 Way Temporary Traffic Signals Installed around Greens Lane onto Main Street] Still right turn only from Greens Lane and Left turn only from Nottingham Road.
We will then proceed with Phase 4 as planned on the 16th of September.
After ongoing discussions with the Local Highway Authority and Trent Barton Buses, we have mutually agreed to implement, at the same time as the road closure on Main Street / Nottingham Road, a ‘One-Way Closure’ on Newdigate Street/Road. This decision aims to reduce traffic congestion on nearby routes as much as reasonably possible while ensuring bus services for the community and schools can continue with minimal disruption.

Route 27: No Affected during Phase 4.
