  1. Re: Your Voice/Choice/Say
    1. Make sure you put the correct website URL on the publicity leaflet.
    2. You want to make Kimberley a nicer place to live? Divert any and all funds to fixing up the roads. I have driven on better maintained highways in the third world.
    Thank you.

    1. Thanks Austen,
yes, that as a mistake. The correct url is on the front of the leaflets and the town website.
I agree with the comments about the roads, and this is something the Town Council has, and continues to, raise with Notts County Council.

  2. My preferred options would be to relocate the cricket ground so that a new park could be created with a Community Hub and Medical Centre, including seating areas, tree planting and shrubs, if possible to add exercise equipment, and a pond. Also to revamp Main street and James Street and to improve footpaths and cycle routes.

    1. Thanks Margaret, we’ll make sure your comments are included in the results

  3. I prefer purchasing ground next to the Swingate water tower to be used by cricket & football clubs with current cricket ground being changed to include community hub including a Parish Hall. The Main Street landslip area & Fleuraines building should be renovated by their owners! (ownership easily obtained via council tax/Land registry records)

    1. Thanks Roger, we’ll make sure your comments are included in the results

  4. 1/ if the cricket ground is moved to Swingate, it will be even more of a nightmare than it is now! You haven’t explained how it is gojng to work , what will happen re parking? It is only 1 road in/out. The streets around the Swingate area need to be resident parking only or perming only. You claim to want to stop this area being left behind but all this will do is infuriate the residents & cause a lot of congestion.I love cricket but this proposal is just ridiculous.
2/ buy water tower & do what with it? No explanation.
3/ build modern health centre – where? No explanation.
4/ agree with Victorian frontages on Main Street.
5/ art lights – complete waste of money when roads need resurfacing. Would be better to to use the money for renewable energy – for example , solar panels on the roofs of the precinct shops.
6/ agree with covered area for events like markets. But the whole precinct needs revamping, it’s an eyesore.
7/ agree with the land slip revamp – make it a feature with bee friendly plants.
8/ If you develop James st car park you are reducing the parking in the town. The covered area idea would be better for that.
    9/ agree with cycle paths.
10/ agree with the Fleuraines redevelopment -it’s an eyesore.
11/ you have made a lot of suggestions – buy the water tower, buy the precinct, enhance transport & parking but you have failed to actually explain how you are going to achieve it.

    1. Thanks Rae, we’ll make sure your comments are included in the feedback.
