Planning Permission Granted for New Community and Business Hub in Kimberley

Kimberley’s New Business and Community Hub Receives Planning Permission

After months of hard work behind the scenes Kimberley Town Council are delighted to announce approval of plans for a new Community and Business Hub on the site of the existing Parish Hall. Working with Julian Owen Associates Architects we have created plans for a fantastic modern 3-floor multi-functional building that will be a great asset to the town for years to come.

The new space will be spread over 3 floors and include:

  • Affordable rentable office space to support small or start-up local businesses.
  • Fantastic function room for weddings, seminars and community events.
  • A stunning community studio room, perfect for community-based activities.
  • New facilities for the Town Council.

As well as providing brilliant new facilities in the town centre the Hub is designed to generate income that will enable the Town Council to provide improved services and great local events for the community at no extra cost to the residents of Kimberley.

We hope to appoint our main contractor in time to start work in autumn this year, and for the building to be open by autumn 2025. There will be more information to follow as the project progresses.

For now, find out more by coming along to our information event on Thursday 30th May 17:30 – 18:00 at the Parish Hall. You can view the plans on the Broxtowe Borough Council website:
