Kimberley Christmas Lights Switch On 25th November 2022

The event featured stalls in the Parish Hall, and a fantastic dance procession of local dancers from the Train Withe Us Dance School leading Santa and his Elf riding their Sleigh from Holy Trinity Church up to the Parish Hall, as well as carol singers from Charlotte Mendley Voice Choir, Brinsley Choir and Nuthall Choir entertaining the crowd and  finishing with marvelous fireworks and the switch-on of Kimberley’s new Christmas Lights by Olaf the Snowman!

As ever, there was an enthusiastic crowd, this year getting covered in artificial snow from the snow machines for the first time.

The event is put on by Kimberley Town Council together with many hours of time from local residents to organise the whole event, put up the lights, with decoration of the tree by children from Hollywell Primary and Kimberley Primary Schools, dancing by Train Withe Us dancers, and our choir singers. Well done and thank you to everyone involved!
