From Friday 11th to Sunday 13th February 2022 from sunset until late

The Valentine’s Festival dates back to Pagan times and the present Chapel on the Hill in Kimberley sits on an earlier Middle Ages Church site, which itself is rumoured to be on an ancient Pagan burial ground. Whether that is true, the hillock on which it stands commands striking views with Crich Memorial in Matlock approximately 20 miles away, clearly in view to the naked eye.
This first Romantic Town Festival in the UK – a unique and enchanting weekend for residents and many visitors at the quietest trading time of the year, is supported by the UK Government, Broxtowe Borough Council and European Unionย subsidy under the Welcome Back Fund.
