  1. What provision has been made for access to residential properties

    1. Hi John,
We realise this is likely to be inconvenient for residents and for through traffic. The roadworks are overseen and approved by Nottinghamshire County Council. The person to ask for advice on this is your Notts County Councillor – details here: https://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/council-and-democracy/councillors/contact-a-councillor#/details/philip-owen

The Town Council will ask this question as well, if we get anything useful back we’ll post it here.

Update from Via obtained from Councillor Owen:
The Road Closure on the 11th May 2024 is to complete the high-friction surfacing works and to investigate & repair the damaged area (highlighted in the attached picture) at the junction with Nine Corners. Consequently, access from Nine Corners cannot be maintained. We do anticipate access for residents, such as the Rectory and Nettleship Way, however, there will be times when access cannot be maintained and those times will not become apparent until the investigation works commence. In the TTRO we create, we always exempt resident “as long as the works are not unreasonably inconvenience by enabling access”.
